Frozen Yogurt

I was sitting out side of my favorite frozen yogurt joint enjoying my tasty treat in the cool spring evening with my roommate and her mom. We were having a nice relaxing chat when a car pulls in to a spot near our table. A very understandable and common occurrence given our location just outside, on the sidewalk, right next to the parking lot. However, this was the most creative parking job I have ever seen! Not only did the driver pull only 3/4 of the way into the spot, but she did so positioning the car perpendicular to the curb in a diagonal spot and left the lights on (car not running) as she went inside Nico's Taco Shop. This driver gets the Most Creative Tucson Driver Award for the week.....No, there's no such award, but if you've ever lived in Tucson you know that there should be.

I think you should create such an award so you can annonomously leave them on the windshields of these infamous vehicles for the well deserving drivers.

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been going about my day-to-day when I run into the most mundane scenarios that absolutely crack me up. Genuine, laugh out loud kind of crack me up. I love it! Finding humor in the everyday makes life enjoyable and less "ordinary." The only problem with this is that I am usually alone when it happens. I know what you're thinking. Why is being alone problematic? Well... Just imagine, if you will, that you're walking down the sidewalk heading to your favorite coffee house when some lady walking alone in the opposite direction passes by you, but just before she does starts randomly, and very audibly, laughing. See where I'm going with this? Such an event has the potential for too many situations that don't end well for me, and because of this I worry a bit. Mostly though, I just wish that I had someone in that moment to with whom to share the hilarity. To that end, I would like to welcome you to this blog partly dedicated to those random, amusing, strange, or even bizarre moments life throws my way. I hope you find humor as well, or at least leave a little more amused than when you arrived. And if all goes as planned, come back for more.
